Poker Dealer

Description of Duties
  • Deals various Poker games in accordance with departmental policies and procedures.
  • Opens and closes assigned Poker tables.
  • Monitors and maintains card control, chip control, and other elements of Poker gaming integrity.
  • Hosts guests and ensures high quality games and service levels.
  • Responds to complaints, mediates disputes, and provides professional and positive guest interactions.
  • Answers questions about game rules and casino policies.
  • May be required to assist in brush and/or chip runner duties.
  • All other duties as assigned.
Work Requirements
  • High School diploma or GED preferred.
  • Poker School Certification preferred.
  • 2+ years of poker dealing experience preferred.
  • Bilingual: English/Spanish preferred.
  • Must be able to sit for extended periods of time, have finger and manual dexterity, have hand-eye coordination, ability to grasp, reach, bend, lift up to 10 lbs and perform repetitive motions.
  • Must be able to obtain the appropriate state occupational license.
  • Strong knowledge of poker rules.
  • Ability to Explain and operate Poker game play and tournament play.
  • Proven customer service skills.
  • Excellent communication skills, both orally and in writing.
  • Must be able to work a flexible schedule to include nights, weekends and holidays.
  • Must be able to pass drug test, credit check and lifetime criminal background check.

Security Agent

Description of Duties
  • Conducts him or herself in accordance with all Department of Business and Professional Regulation standards and the Company’s internal policies and procedures.
  • Patrols gaming areas and grounds to establish security presence and reports all unusual situations and suspicious persons.
  • Monitors through inspection and observations all activities within the facility.
  • Observes, records and reports any unusual incidents and occurrences including medical situations.
  • Prepares Security Incident or Accident Reports as required.
  • Prepares follow-up to reports when necessary.
  • Provides excellent customer service to ensure positive guest experiences.
  • Knowledgeable of all current marketing events happening to promote and assist our patrons.
  • Stands post to ensure alertness in the casino.

Work Requirements

MVP Host

Description of Duties
  • The Sports Challenge America MVP will be responsible for ensuring fellow MVP associates and guests feel a sense of value and importance. The MVP shall create a high-level of excitement, celebration, and energy while selling a championship experience of becoming a sports legend to our valued guests. The MVP will pay attention to the property’s cleanliness, safety, and the overall smooth function of all SCA areas, while adhering to Sport Challenge America’s policies and procedure standards. Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
  • Ensure optimum delivery of SCA services, balancing a pragmatic approach with the need to consistently deliver services to a standard of steady fun, excitement, and excellence
  • Continually develop and grow the craft of delivering best guest service practices where guests’ needs are anticipated, and service standards exceed better than best.
  • Ability to instruct and assist guests with equipment and techniques as needed
  • Ability to always cheer and support the guest and teammates, creating memorable experiences worthy of returning to
  • Ability to smile and create a welcoming, friendly, and awesome environment for all.
  • Ability to detect problems and own the resolve or ask for help.
  • Operate in a manner in accordance with SCA policy and procedure and compliance
  • Record any irregular activity through accurate, detailed reports
  • Operate all SCA equipment and areas as assigned
  • To sell the Sports Challenge America offering to guests and collect payments
  • Set up and breakdown equipment for daily operations and special tournaments
  • Provide written and oral reporting as needed
  • Monitor property and equipment and assure all operate in excellent condition
  • Communicate with management and peers to continually strive to improve performance
  • Uphold the highest standards of courtesy and conduct that exceeds expectations
  • Promote a safe and secure work environment
  • Perform other duties as assigned
Work Requirements
  • Sports knowledge and guest service experience preferred
  • Ability to lift to 50lbs, stand and sit for periods of time, bend, and twist

Description of Duties
